Project Summary:
The Methodist Health System, is a nonprofit healthcare organization headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska. The two major facilities in the system, Jennie Edmundson Hospital and Methodist Hospital, serve the Omaha/Council Bluffs metropolitan area. There are 685 beds within the system and approximately two dozen additional facilities in rural Nebraska and Iowa providing family practice and specialty services.
AMI Environmental has been an environmental solutions partner with Methodist Health System since 1987. Over the years AMI has provided consulting services, environmental investigations and remediation management for approximately 150 renovation projects in a variety of Methodist Health System facilities.
In 2008, AMI Environmental worked with Methodist to perform several infection control analysis and Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) testing. The purpose of the testing was to identify and determine ambient airborne concentrations of standard IAQ parameters, such as fungal spore concentrations, temperature, humidity, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide.
